A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Staged Reading
Sunday, August 7, 2005 - 2:00 p.m.
Fairy Lake Park, Newmarket, ON
The audience witnessed first-hand as Shakespeare’s fairies descend on Fairy Lake. Sparring lovers and conflict in the Fairy Kingdom was played out over the course of one very magical night. The mixture of comedy and romantic adventure, combined with some of his most enduring characters has let this remain as one of Shakespeare’s most popular and beloved plays.
SPECIAL THANKS to Jeremy Freiburger, Miles Potter and the FESTIVAL OF CLASSICS for helping to make this event possible.
Our second staged reading was an overwhelming success. Approximately 250 persons attended. |
